Why is House of Hunan Fairlawn closed?
Jack Suen, who moved back to the Akron area last May from Malaysia to run his family's restaurant business, House of Hunan, confirmed Tuesday that the original 1983 Fairlawn location is permanently closed. "The reason is because Lawrence, my brother, he's retired with Cheryl," his wife, Jack Suen said.
